NASAexplores (http://www.nasaexplores.com) is an on-line resource for K-12 educators. Each week, new articles, geared towards teachers, are posted The staff educators (http://www.nasaexplores.com/aboutus-bios.html) take those articles and adapt them for three reading levels: K-4, 5-8, and 9-12. The educators also develop lessons that reinforce concepts in the articles, and these materials support national education standards. This site offers an array of subjects in both the articles and lessons. Best of all, NASAexplores materials are absolutely free of charge, and all materials are archived for easy retrieval. Materials are in print-to-use format--either PDF or web format. T eachers can access free, standards-based resources. During the summer, NASAexplores featured activities, articles about astronauts, and reading lists that teachers may want to access for later use. Recently, some of our education specialists helped a young man with his "Flat David" (personalized Flat Stanley) project. Visit our site to read about Flat David's adventures. http://www.nasaexplores.com/extras/flatdavid/
