TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHERS
Twelve (12) hours of
Professional Development in Technology for elementary, middle and high school
levels will be offered during the 2009-10 school year. All sessions will
be six (6) hours in length (including a working lunch). The workshops will be
held on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
Participants in
attendance at each of the two day trainings will be eligible for the following
door prizes:

Kodak Easyshare Digital Camera
·
Ink Jet Printer
·
Flash Drives (three at each of the two day sessions)
· Other
technology related materials for instructional use
Bill Byles and Susan Brooks,
the co-founders of
Internet4Classrooms,
will be conducting these sessions.

Elementary Training
Are you looking to add a little vivacity to your classroom? Come and join
us for a day filled with practical ideas you can use with your students
for daily activities as well as fun projects. During these sessions you
will learn some tips and tricks dealing with Microsoft Office 2007 as well
as how to combine digital pictures with various software and online
resources to engage your students in real-time learning. If you have a
digital camera, bring it with you to both sessions. Attendees will use
what is learned during the first session with their students and share
those ideas and projects during the second session, where new practical
ideas and resources will be covered.

time figuring out our what to do? Come and learn some innovative ways to
engage your students using various pieces of software, such as Microsoft
Office 2007, as well as free creative websites. Learn how you and your
students can transform digital pictures into simple, yet effective,
classroom projects that go beyond what could have been done just years
ago. If you have a digital camera, bring it with you to both sessions.

students and share those ideas and projects during the second session,
where new practical ideas and resources will be covered.
