Early Dismissal Times

To reduce interruptions to classes and to ensure that students receive the full benefit of each class they attend, students will be dismissed between classes. These times are 9:30, 11:05, and 1:20.
We ask that parents understand this and plan accordingly. Only in cases of emergency will students be dismissed during classes.

2011-12 School Year Highlights

** Class of 2012 secured over $500,000 in scholarships and grants!
** Graduation rate was above 93%
** ACT scores improved over the previous year as did the 11th Grade Writing Assessment
** Several sports achieved greater records, regional championships, and state playoffs berths for football and Girls & Boys Golf.
** FFA acheived a State Championship.

Congratulations... to Ms Jana Garren on being selected HCHS Teacher of the Year!

Summer Credit Recovery... Beginning June 4 Summer Credit Recovery will be available for students wishing to work on classes that they did not pass. In order to be eligible, a student cannot make below a 50. The classes will be available Monday-Thursday until June 28. There will two sessions available each day. The first from 8:00-11:00 and the second from 12:00-3:00. After the 28th, all credit recovery classes will be reset for the following year and all work will be cleared. You may sign up on May 15 from 8:00-10:00 in the front lobby of the High School.
