Students who earn an Honors Diploma will be ranked first for the senior year rank-in-class.

Beginning with the fall semester of 1998-99, grades for each quarter are weighted by five (5) points in all Honors courses as well as the following upper-level math and science courses: Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Statistics, Calculus, Chemistry, Biology II, Physics. In order for the student to receive the extra five (5) points, he/she must actually earn at least a B (85) in that course for the quarter.
