Teaching applicants who wish to teach on INITIAL Alternative Type I or II licenses must meet State qualifications BEFORE being hired. Teachers who have taught on the Alternative Type I or II license during the previous year must meet renewal qualifications before September 1, 2008. Alternative I and II License Qualifications
