Job Title: Coordinated School Health Director

Position Responsibilities: Compliance with state guidelines, our local wellness policies, and requirements of the Coordinated School Health Program. Coordinate student health evaluation services. Utilize outside sources in the community to promote school health issues. Provide programs and professional development opportunities to school employees. State reporting, budget requirements, meetings, and re-application for the CSH proposal. Seek outside funding opportunities to expand our program Able to multi-task, highly motivated, highly organized, energetic, and outgoing personality.

Hours: 7:30-3:30

Contract Length: July 1, 2007-June 30, 2008

Start Date: July 1, 2007

Salary: System-wide Salary Schedule Training and Experience Level
 

Minimum Requirement: Minimum bachelor's degree in education, public health, family and consumer sciences, nursing, behavioral science, physical education, counseling, nutrition or other health related fields. Experienced in the school environment, works well with children and adults, committed to total individual wellness. Advanced computer skills. Ability to assess health needs of our students, families, and staff members
