Job Title: Behavioral Consultant

Position Responsibilities:

• Direct interventions for students with suspected behavior difficulties; provide consultation to teachers and parents regarding areas of disability and appropriate interventions;

• Conduct classroom observations and provide consultations to teachers and staff concerning behavioral issues;

• Provide training for school system personnel as needed.

Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Start Date: August 1, 2008

Salary: HCBOE System-wide Salary Schedule Training and Experience Level

Minimum Requirement:

• Bachelors or Masters (preferred) degree in Special Education,Psychology, or related area;

• Documentation of training in and/or experience with behavioral disorders.
